During the end of 2024, Anika and Sherlie met while working on a creative project and now look where they have found themselves…....working on another creative project.
Two strangers, turned fast friends, turned business partners- it was kismet. An unlikely story for two 20-something year olds trying to navigate adult friendships, or rather, just being an adult in general.
Alternative schedules and not being bound to the same environment was both exciting and uncomfortable. In their case, they couldn't care less— which made them both care very much about putting effort into this new found friendship. Anika and Sherlie knew that curating a space for other grown people to meet and build connections is essential to the world of today.
Coming from compatible cultural backgrounds, food quickly eased its way into conversation- and thereby connection. Even better, they both have a love for art, music, food, craft cocktails, supporting community and some damn good conversation. Your founders believe that life is what you make of it, and when you find a pocket of joy it’s meant to be shared. Save Me a Seat was born out of the philosophy that there is *always* room for one more at our table. With vivacious co-owners with dreams of sharing their vision with their community- this is a safe space; made for us by us.

What’s up future friends!
I have a deep love and appreciation for anything that makes a person feel alive—sunrises, live music +theater, combat sports and generally new experiences! My love for hosting is definitely inherited from my family and their catering legacy; getting to experience those huge family parties back in their “home” country truly showed me the power of bumpin’ tunes, full bellies, and endless conversation. With my open heart and creative takes on modern staples, I can’t wait to show y’all what I have in store.

I can't wait to host you:)
I’m a lover of sunsets, traveling, food, music and outdoor activities. I realized I had a love for hosting when I turned my home into an Italian restaurant for my parent’s anniversary. Everything closed during covid, my parents were unable to properly celebrate their love. So in my Sherlie fashion, I cooked a 3 course meal with wine pairings and flipped our living room into a private 2 guest dinner with candles and music. I’ll be bringing the same energy to our dinner parties!
